Posture is a tissue problem

"Stand up straight" never worked because posture isn't a decision — it's the shape your fascial lattice has been trained into. Change the tissue and the shape changes. That's what the Structural Wellness Seminars (SWS) teach.

The lattice, not the skeleton

Your skeleton doesn't actually hold you up — it floats inside a tensioned fascial lattice, like poles inside a tent. When the lattice tightens unevenly (desks, phones, old injuries), the bones follow. That's forward head, rounded shoulders, hiked hip, collapsed arch.

Why stretching alone fails

Stretching pulls on muscle. The problem is one layer deeper — the fascial sheets that have cross-linked and lost glide. You have to release that layer mechanically before the body will accept a new shape. That's the job of Deep Fascia Massage Therapy.
