PROTOCOL 01 · AGING & LONGEVITY
Anti-Aging Protocol
Reset the NAD+ loop. Restart mitochondrial biogenesis. Engineer hormetic stress on a daily timeline. This is the full PPW anti-aging architecture — the same system Victor runs himself.
The science
Aging is not a single process. It is the compound failure of three systems: NAD+ depletion, mitochondrial biogenesis shutdown, and the loss of hormetic stress response. Fix those three in the right order, on the right daily timeline, and the rest of the aging cascade slows measurably.
NAD+ loop
NAD+ is a co-enzyme that supports sirtuin signalling and mitochondrial ATP production. Levels decline with age. NMN supplementation raises blood NAD+ in human RCTs (Yi et al., GeroScience 2023; Yoshino et al., Science 2021); the NAD+ lift is established, but downstream "longevity" outcomes in humans remain preliminary (Huberman Lab #70 — promising, not proven).
Mitochondrial biogenesis
PGC-1α is a master regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis. It's activated by fasting and cold (well-established in humans). Polyphenols like PQQ activate PGC-1α in cell/rodent models (Chowanadisai et al., J Biol Chem 2010); human evidence remains preliminary, so PPW treats PQQ as comfort-tier and leans on the proven levers (fasting, cold, training).
Hormetic stress
Cold exposure, fasted training, and sauna finish the loop. The small controlled dose of stress triggers repair proteins (heat shock, Nrf2) that would otherwise remain silent. Without hormesis the supplements work at maybe 30% of their potential.
