BUILD — substrate
Collagen synthesis is rate-limited by the amino acids glycine, proline, lysine and the cofactors vitamin C, copper and zinc. Hydrolysed peptides bypass digestion and deliver the substrate pool directly to fibroblasts.
POWER — mitochondria
Fibroblasts are energy-hungry cells. NMN raises blood NAD+ in human RCTs (Yi 2023, Yoshino 2021). PQQ shows PGC-1α activation in cell/rodent models (Chowanadisai 2010); human evidence preliminary — comfort tier. Fasting and cold remain the proven levers for mitochondrial biogenesis.
